Community means being aware of the unique struggles our neighbors may be facing and doing what you can to help. If we can improve our neighborhood then we improve our towns and it only grows from there. In Congress I will promote legislation that gives each community the tools and resources it needs to solve the problems only it knows how to fix.

Our representatives in Washington have gotten too cozy and forgotten who they work for, the American people. It’s time we send a rural Utahn to Congress who reminds our government that it is we the people who are in charge and that we demand to be heard.

Every other candidates website begins by saying how they will fight for conservative Utah values, but that’s simply not going to cut it. I am fighting for all Utahns, period. I make no apologies for my progressive liberal views, but I’m running to represent all of District 2, not just the folks who think like me. Utah deserves a leader who will ignore corporate lobbyists, stand up to their own party when it is wrong, is willing to listen to the people, accepts challenges to their ideas, and make decisions based on what is realistic.
